Ian List
Medical Writer and Instructional Designer. Ian List has over 15 years of experience designing, writing, and developing medical and biology education and training programs for the pharmaceutical industry, academia, and physician and patient education. Ian is well versed in all media, including multimedia (CD-ROM and Web-based delivery), audio, video, print, and workshops. He has also written extensively on a wide variety of medical subjects, including oncology, infectious diseases, immunology, cardiovascular disease, mental disorders, microbiology, gastroenterology, diabetes, and dermatology.
For the past 10 years, Ian has focused on the design, writing, and development of interactive multimedia medical and biology education programs for pharmaceutical sales training and college undergraduate education. His work includes award-winning virtual preceptorships, case-study simulations, and creative animated tutorials. Ian has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Boston University and has completed several post-graduate courses and seminars in instructional design, multimedia, and molecular biology.
