John Sharp, MD
Dr. John Sharp is a neuropsychiatrist at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston where he is also Associate Director for Medical Student Education in Psychiatry. He maintains a Private Practice integrating psychotherapy and psychopharmacology for adolescents and adults. His special expertise is in treating attention deficit, mood, and anxiety disorders. He is particularly interested in collaborating with primary care and with neurology.
Dr. Sharp is a member of the faculty at Harvard Medical School. He earned his A.B at Harvard College and his M.D. at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his residency at the University of California, San Francisco where he also served as Chief Resident. He is a member of the examining committee of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
