Shipen Li, MD
Dr. Shipen Li is a nephrologist with North County Nephrology Associates in Fitchburg and a consultant in nephrology at various hospitals throughout central Massachusetts. He is also an Instructor in Medicine and Nephrology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Li’s clinical interests include hypertension, glomerulonephritis and acute renal failure.
Dr. Li earned his A.B. at Harvard University and his M.D. at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed his residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, where he also served as Chief Resident, and was a Nephrology Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a member of the Infection Control Committee at HealthAlliance Hospital, and the Medical Record Peer Review.
