Linda A. Cyr
Linda Cyr is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management where she teaches Designing and Leading the Entrepreneurial Organization for MBA students and a People and Organizations course for Sloan Fellows. Previously, Linda was an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School for six years. She has published articles in refereed journals such as The Academy of Management Journal and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice in addition to authoring several HBS cases spanning a variety of industries including biotech, consumer products, and technology.
Prior to joining the HBS faculty, Linda served as a lecturer in the Department of Human Resources at Cornell University teaching Human Resource Strategies in the Entrepreneurial Firm. She holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell and a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Her professional experience includes several assignments in marketing and sales within various business units of GTE.
