Peter LaBreck Steere, MBA, B.S. Pharmacy
Peter LaBreck Steere is an Assistant Professor of Health Care Management at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where he is responsible for curriculum development for the Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Peter also teaches several courses including Pharmacy Practice Management, Pharmaceutical Marketing and Health Care Delivery and Management. Peter is also a principal of Remedy Pharmacy Management Services, Inc, a consulting and management agency that has provided services to over 40 health systems including Yale University, New England Medical Center, Partners, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health Care and Columbia/HCA of New England. Previously, Peter was Vice President of Chartwell/Nations where he was responsible for the creation, development and operations of its disease management-focused Distributive Pharmacy Division.
Peter is a member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Pharmacy Association. He was inducted into the Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society in 2003 and was the recipient of Marion Laboratories Distinguished Young Pharmacist of the Year Award in 1988 and a Pfizer Laboratories Community Internship Award in 1986. Additionally, he has received numerous teaching and advising awards, and is recognized nationally for his expertise in strategic planning and business analyses relating to pharmacy services. Peter received his MBA from Western New England College and his B.S. in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.
